No, we're not a cat cafe. The Cat's Pyjamas is a flexible coworking space, centrally located in Nailsworth. We aim to provide an inclusive, friendly workspace that allows you to cut the commute and work closer to home.
Essentially, a coworking space is a shared office space which can be used by freelancers, remote workers and students alike. Coworkers can book desk space on a flexible basis, whether for a few hours a day, once a week, or on a more regular basis.
From meeting other professionals to finding a space to focus away from the distractions of homeworking, our flexible tariffs can help boost creativity and productivity, while reducing the amount you have to commute.
We are open from 07:00-18:00 seven days a week.
No, we do not staff the space. Our co-founders regularly work from the space though. They will be happy to help with any issues, or one of our lovely members may even be able to help you. If this isn't the case, please call us if you are having any issues while at The Cat's Pyjamas.
No, in order for us to ensure a safe and secure workspace, we require that you sign up, either to one of our monthly tariffs or on a Pay As You Go (PAYG) basis.
No, while our monthly rolling tariffs are the most cost-effective options, you can use the facilities at The Cat's Pyjamas on a Pay As You Go (PAYG) basis.
Through our member management system, Coherent. You can link to this from our website. Once signed up, you can see space availability and book the hours you require.
If you're signing up for one of our monthly tariffs, then it works on a monthly rolling basis - cancel when you like.
Very. You can use your included hours as and when you need to. You can also add more desk space or meeting room hours as you need.
Billing is different for members on monthly tariffs and members on Pay As You Go tariffs.
Coworkers that sign up to a monthly tariff will be billed on the date they sign up. After their first month, they are billed on the 1st of every month going forward. So if a member were to sign up on the 7th September, they would pay for 7th-30th September on the 7th September and then1st-31st October on 1st October. If a member unsubscribes and the final date is somewhere in the middle of the month, that final invoice will be prorated too.
For Pay As You Go users, the billing date is the date the booking is made.
The actual date that money is deducted from your account may be up to 5 days after the billing date.
